For fabrication of items, we can use sheet steel, round, square or rectangular bars, all can be supplied in various thicknesses and lengths/sizes. Our machines have the capabilities to:

Bend items up to a
set degree angle

Drilling holes,
cutting and grinding surfaces

Twisting of smaller bars or
bending bars
Our welders are skilled in Mig and Tig welding and we pride ourselves on neat, tidy work.
Powder Coat Painting
Most items we fabricate are also painted, but we will paint items to order (all items will need holes in them to allow hanging). Some of these may need additional preparation, and we can suggest where to get this done, or include it as part of the job (at additional cost and time).
Powdercoat painting – Prepared items are sprayed with powder and then heated in one of our two ovens to melt the powder to give a durable, even coverage.
Wet painting – we can supply aerosol cans in your particular colour as touch up paint to cover wear and tear chipping of paint
Undercoating – some items may need to be etch primed or undercoated before being powdercoated.
Red oxide – Structural steel can be painted with a red oxide paint to protect it.
Lacquer – Different powder lacquers can be used to give a matt or gloss finish.
We use the RAL and BS4800 system of colour matching to your specification, please feel free to come in & compare colours if you are unsure of the RAL number corresponding to a particular shade! Our powder colours usually come in matt, gloss, satin or textured finishes.

If we cannot meet your needs in-house we have good relationships with other local companies and can provide add-on items to your job. There may be an additional charge for some services, please call us for information.
Hot Dip Galvanising – The hot dip process will protect steel, dipping steel in zinc creates alloy layers bonded to the steel surface. We would recommend any steelwork used in an outside environment is treated in this way prior to being powdercoated.
Shot blasting/Chemical stripping – Powdercoating requires surfaces to be clean and free from old paint, rust etc. and we can arrange this for you.
Profile cutting – If you need precision cut steel as part of your job we can source laser or water cutting of items which can then be welded or bolted to your item.
